What if I do not want to attend the in-person portion of my class? Can I be excused from doing so and just work online?
The in-person portion of classes is essential to instruction. Students who need accommodations for a disability should contact the Access and Accommodations Center at http://access.gsu.edu/. Before classes begin, academic advisers will assist in building course schedules and work with students who are unable to attend classes in-person to direct them to classes that are fully online.
I normally take my tests at AACE; do I come to campus to take my tests?
No, you will be taking your tests online at your residence. Testing accommodations will be applied. Please see the AACE home page for Student Resources for additional information.
I have accommodations already; are they valid in online classes?
Yes and no. E.g., most testing accommodations and some others apply. Recording lectures will likely not be necessary as most online classes are recorded. If there is an accommodation you need and you’re not sure how it will work out, contact AACE by phone or email to schedule a consultation with one of the Access Coordinators.
What is the first step I should take?

I don’t have accommodations, but think I may need them now, what can I do?
We want to help you! Start by completing and submitting the PDF Welcome Form or socket5协议 found under the How To Connect tab. Once received, we will arrange a virtual appointment to discuss options with you. We may provide resources for obtaining a formal evaluation, and under some circumstances, we may be able to authorize provisional accommodations while we await documentation; particularly when it may be difficult to acquire documents from your provider in a timely manner.
